MRSEC postdoc in THz spintronics at the University of Delaware
The Quantum Transport Theory Group (https://wiki.physics.udel.edu/qttg), within Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC) at the University of Delaware (UD) https://mrsec.udel.edu/, has opening for a postdoc to model THz radiation from spintronic heterostructures driven by fs laser pulses. This work will be done in close collaboration with MRSEC experimentalists. A candidate should have experience with time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) applied to magnetic materials or experience in time-dependent nonequilibirum Green functions (TDNEGF), as well as interest in contributing to code formalism and development. The applicant should have a PhD in condensed matter physics or related field. Send your complete CV, including references that we may contact, as well as the best completed journal article and/or link to software developed to email@example.com.
