Immediate open PhD and postdoc positions in the Bae group at Cornell University
Eunice Bae is an assistant professor in the Chemistry department at Cornell University. Her group's main interest is looking at spin dynamics using both optical and microwave spectroscopy. She is working on generating short microwave pulses and fast microwave detection schemes to enhance the time resolution of the transient optical pump and microwave probe spectroscopy tool. With this state-of-the-art spectroscopy tool, her group is interested in elucidating exciton and magnon dynamics in magnetic semiconductors and the interplay among spin, electrons, and lattice. She is looking for both graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who are particularly interested in spectroscopy development and magnetic materials. Please email her (yb293@cornell.edu) if you are interested and would like to discuss more!
