Postdoctoral researcher position at University of Colorado Colorado Springs

The group of Prof. Iacocca at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop physics-informed machine learning algorithms for material discovery. The research will focus on magnetic materials and the stabilization of 3D topological textures using new models for magnetization dynamics, including but not limited to, a pseudo-spectral approach and a fractional calculus implementation of the Landau-Lifshitz equation. The successful applicant is expected to collaborate with the group’s students and also faculty in computer science throughout the position. More details in the job posting.
