Three Assistant Professor positions in Condensed Matter Physics or Biophysics at University of Colorado Colorado Springs

The Department of Physics and Energy Science, University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), invites applications for three (3) full-time Tenure-Track Assistant Professor positions in Condensed Matter Physics or Biophysics starting August 2024. The successful Assistant Professor candidates will establish a research program with national and international visibility and will actively seek external funding. In addition, each position requires teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, mentoring students, and providing service to the profession, department, university, and community. Each candidate should be able to teach at least 60% of the physics curriculum (undergraduate/graduate) as demonstrated by courses taken and/or taught, research area topics, relevant publications, and letters of reference. Successful candidates are expected to be able to collaborate in research with current faculty members.
