Postdoc, Staff, and Faculty positions in Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of  Sciences, Beijing

We are pleased to announce the openings of 2 postdoc, 1-2 staff, and 1 faculty positions in State Key Laboratory for Superlattices and Microstructures, Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Motivated candidates will be working with experimental spintronics Team led by Prof. Lijun Zhu on fundamental physics or memory/computing devices of spin-orbit torques. Qualified candidates should be very well trained with thin film deposition, device fabrications, and spin-orbit torque characterizations. Postdoc and staff should have a PhD degree within 3 years, from experimental study of the spintronics, magnetic tunnel junctions, or van der Waals magnets. Faculty candidates should also have fruitful postdoc experience.

We offer internationally competitive salaries and promise a rewarding research experience. Postdoc position can be renewed for up to four years and updated to a staff/faculty position, depending on the performance. Lijun Zhu’s group is equipped with cutting-edge instruments, including 11 target- UHV magnetron sputtering, RIBE-SIMS system, lithography room, dc-rf-picosecond pulse probe station, Ker microscope, and others.
