Postdoc position in spin-orbitronics at Uppsala University Sweden


The focus of the position is computational modeling of electrically induced spin and orbital torques, theory for light-induced spin and orbital currents, current-induced spin dynamics and modelling of electrically induced magnetization dynamics and switching in spin-orbitronic elements. The research tasks include the development of theoretical models and of computer simulation programs to simulate non-equilibrium orbital and spin currents and their dynamics in antiferromagnetic and topological spin-orbitronic materials that have a significant potential for energy-saving applications. Various computer programs (DFT and simulations of coupled spin and orbital dynamics) will be used and developed.
